		abstract={The study of the Power Sales Losses in particular industry sectors PT. PLN (Persero)
Distribution Service Area of East Java and North Surabaya Network aims to know the loss on
the sale of electric power industry. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research methods.
Losses that occur due to operating expenses which includes the sale of electricity which consists
of several sectors such as households, public, business, industry. Sales of electric power losses
greatly affect PT. PLN (Persero) Distribution of East Java, Surabaya Area Network Services and
the North is the sale of electric power industry. This study is the first sector. Sales of electric
power losses due to the industrial sector there is a difference in the price of 450-900 VA group
compared with the group on it. This is due to the price disparity of small industries use a lot of
electrical power levels with the 450-900VA. These price differences are also caused PT. PLN
(Persero) Distribution Service Area of East Java and North Surabaya Network holds the
potential benefits that cannot be produced by differences in the use of electric power between
power groups in the 450-900VA with 1300-2200VA electric power. 2) Greater buying power
than selling power because it follows the dollar exchange rate, if the dollar increases the price of
electricity purchases increased but sales of electricity in Indonesia adjusted selling price of
electricity in certain industrial sectors.
