		abstract={Family financial management is the most important thing in growing the family economy. This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy and financial experience on family financial management behavior with the intention to act as a mediating variable. This study used a sample of 109 family financial managers as respondents and had a minimum income of IDR 3,000,000 per month. The data were collected by means of a questionnaire, then analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study indicate that financial experience has a significant positive effect on financial management behavior, and behavioral intention is able to fully mediate literacy in financial management behavior, while financial literacy does not have a significant impact on family financial behavior.}
