Changes in deck load, both in terms of number and distribution of weight, can have a significant impact on ship construction. Changes in deck load can occur in various situations, such as loading or discharging cargo, changing the position of the cargo during the voyage, or changing the type of cargo being carried. But apart from all types of changes in deck load changes affect barge construction. Changes in cargo or deck load will certainly affect the construction strength of the barge, this is an important step in understanding the impact and consequences of changes in cargo on ship construction. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out an analysis to determine the construction strength of the barge's main deck when the deck load changes to 10 tonnes/m2 by increasing the construction dimensions of the main deck using calculations, and by using the finite element method to obtain analysis results in the form of deformation strength and stress.
