		abstract={The water level control system is one way to determine the 
height of the water surface. Water level control systems have been widely applied in various places, such as lakes, reservoirs, rivers, or in water tanks in companies and housing. At PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper, this control system is needed to control and monitor the water level in the tank in the production process because if you do not use this water level control system, the production process cannot run optimally. There are many impacts that will occur if the tank does not use a water level control system, it can be in the form of tank contents overflowing or running out. If that happens it will cause danger and cause production failure. Therefore, this control system is very important in tanks at PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper, especially in the production of clo2 products, to control tanks containing liquids, gases and solids while overcoming the problem of overflowing tank contents or running out. This research involves a study of the general operation of the Level Transmitter in an open tank system at PT. Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper. With the results of the study showing that 
maintaining the correct level and temperature in the Cold Water tank is very important to avoid production interruptions and equipment failures.}
