		abstract={This research aims to describe the village in terms of developing its potential and Village Original Revenue (PADes) that can be enhanced through Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), supported by Village Law No. 6 of 2014, which grants villages the authority to manage their own governance and local community interests. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations.The research findings indicate that: (1) The Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in the three villages (Sungai Batang, Klemantan, and Palkun) are still focused on the results of their business activities, (2) each BUMDes has a unique strategy to increase village income through identifying local potential, assessing the economy, providing training and education, and encouraging community participation, (3) the villages of Sungai Batang, Klemantan, and Palkun have not
yet conducted mapping of village potential, such as natural resources, human resources, and social resources, (4) The potential of natural, human, and social resources has not been fully utilized optimally.}
