@thesis{thesis, author={Wati Widia}, title ={Pemanfaatan Bottom Ash dan Silica Fume untuk Pembuatan Bata Ringan CLC}, year={2021}, url={http://eprints.polbeng.ac.id/1362/}, abstract={Bottom ash is waste resulting from burning palm oil left under the stove, bottom ash also includes B3 waste which can damage the environment and the amount of waste is very large and very dangerous.This research was conducted to determine the effect of palm oil bottom ash and silicafume on the value of compressive strength, absorption, volume weight and porosity of cellular lightweight concrete (CLC). The method used in this study is to make CLC lightweight bricks with bottom ash as a partial substitute for sand of 5%, 10% and 15% of the weight of sand with silicafume added. The light bricks that had been treated for 7 days,14 days, 21 days and 28 days were then tested to obtain the compressive strength, volume weight, absorption and porosity values of the lightweight bricks. The results showed that the compressive strength of lightweight bricks was 211% greater at 7.62 MPa at the age of 28 days at a percentage of 0% bottom ash. The volume weight of the bricks all meet the requirements of SNI because the weight of the bricks starts from 900-1600kg. The water absorption value meets the requirements of the quality of the bricks based on SNI of 29% which is included in the quality of brick II. For the highest porosity is at 0% bottom ash by 33% at the age of 28 days} }
