Styrofoam has a low specific gravity. This study uses styrofoam grains as a concrete mixture that is used as a concrete pontoon with voids of 4,5% of the concrete volume. The percentage addition of 50%, 60% and 70% Styrofoam that works on concrete so that the concrete can be as big. The method used in this study used tube samples that had been treated for 7, 14 and 28 days and then tested for compressive strength values using SNI 034164-2002, concrete density using the SNI 03-2847-2002 method, water absorption capacity of concrete. lightweight Styrofoam SNI 03-2914-1992. And testing the buoyancy of the pontoon using Archimedes' law method. The results showed that the pontoon concrete has buoyancy from the addition of styrofoam proportions of 50%, 60%, 70% and voids of 4,5%. The highest compressive strength resulting from the cylindrical sample is 7.95 Mpa at the age of 28 days with a percentage of 50%. The weight of the concrete volume has met the requirements of SNI because the weight obtained starts from 1188 ? 1526 kg/m3. the value of water absorption meets SNI, the largest value is 5.080% at the age of 28 days} }
