		abstract={This final project research aims to determine the operational procedures applied at the container terminal in an effort to increase the volume of container loading and unloading at PT Pelindo I (Persero) Pekanbaru branch, identify obstacles to the operation of loading and unloading equipment at the Perawang container terminal, find out what is done in the operation of the equipment. - loading and unloading tools. The method used is the method of observation and interviews. The place of research was carried out at the Perawang container terminal which was carried out from April to August 2021. The results obtained in this study were that the operating procedures for loading and unloading equipment at the Perawang container terminal were carried out optimally and were in accordance with what was determined by the company but still there are shortcomings where during the operation of loading and unloading equipment, equipment cannot be used because it is damaged, there is a lack of adequate container yards that hinder work in the field. Obstacles in the operation of loading and unloading equipment such as weather factors, namely rain, damage to equipment, application system errors / network breaks, waiting trucks, damaged vehicles, human resource barriers, lack of adequate container fields.}
