		abstract={In several coastal areas in Indonesia, one of which is in Selat Akar Village, Tasik Putri Puyu District, Meranti Islands Regency, Riau, the processing of dried shrimp is carried out in the traditional way so that it requires labor and a long time. The stripping process is carried out using human power. The problem faced by the manager is that when they get a lot of shrimp they can't (overwhelm) during the process of stripping dry shrimp (ebi). Because the stripping process is still using the manual method. This study focuses on the discussion about the dried shrimp shell (ebi) peeler that we will design to help improve the economy of the coastal community of the Akar Strait, Meranti Islands Regency. The purpose of this study was to design and manufacture a dry shrimp skin peeler and to determine the rotational speed of the stirrer shaft on the dried shrimp skin peeler (ebi). The method used is to conduct a field study then conduct a literature study and start the design and collection of data and materials that will be used in the process of making the tool. From the results of the study, the average capacity of the dried shrimp skin peeler was 64.3 kg/hour. The yield obtained was 98.6%.}
