PLTU uses mangrove wood at ist fuel and Boiler as its equipment to burn te woods. Boiler is an equipment wich has function to change water into fluids. Steam drum is a part of boiler that is used for separating steam form water after heating process in boiler which is based on difference of specific gravity. Meanwhile, level of water occurs in stem drum is a dominant factor to get steam with quality. Then, a level control is needed to keep condition for being stable toward changing of steam drum. Therefore, a title taken for this thesis is about the making of controlling system designs of water level toward steam drum boiler. Set point form level controlling of the steam drum is a 8 cm on maximum level and 16 cm. if the level controlling reaches set point of 16 cm, the sensor will response for the water pomp being on. Furthermore, if the set point is 18 cm, the pomp will be off. Form the data, it can be concluded that level control of steam drum boiler is running well. Generally, PLTU company has size with big scale. Therefore, this research is designed in prototype with small scale in order to be used as an alternative of electrical suppler for household scale.
