One way to repel pests is to use ultrasonic waves at a frequency that can disturb these pests. Research and the use of ultrasonic waves to repel some pests have been done, but not yet for fruit flies. In this final project, a prototype is designed that is able to generate ultrasonic waves using Arduino Uno whose frequency can be varied up to 90 kHz. Using this prototype, fruit flies were tested to obtain a frequency that could be used to repel fruit flies. The results obtained that the designed prototype is capable of producing ultrasonic waves of 20 kHz to 60 kHz. Through testing on fruit flies, it was also found that fruit flies feel disturbed when exposed to ultrasonic waves with a frequency of 25 kHz-30 kHz.} }
