@thesis{thesis, author={Subiana Natia}, title ={Pemanfaatan Spent Bleaching Earth Sebagai Bahan Pengganti Filler Pada Campuran AC-WC}, year={2022}, url={http://eprints.polbeng.ac.id/6792/}, abstract={The largest composition of waste in the oil or oleochemical industry is spent bleaching earth, which is a solid waste material produced from refining vegetable oils. It is estimated that around 600,000 metric tons per year or more of B2 spent bleaching earth is used in refining processes with production levels reaching more than 60 million tons of oil worldwide. Spent bleaching earth (SBE) is solid waste generated from the bleaching process in the palm oil processing industry such as cooking oil and elochemicals. Spent bleaching earth is a mixture of clay and oil that must be handled with care due to its flammable nature. Utilization of spent bleaching earth waste as a substitute for asphalt mixtures is intended to reduce the negative impact which is very dangerous but can have a positive impact on society and the environment. Researchers use spent bleaching earth waste as a filler substitute because this waste both contains silica dust compounds. The researcher chose the AC-WC layer gradation because the percentage was greater than the AC-BC layer, so the researchers chose to do this research on the AC-WC layer. The specifications in the implementation of this test refer to the General Bina Marga 2018 specifications. The compaction of the test object is carried out in 2x50 collisions, it is assumed that this test is intended for medium traffic. Before testing the characteristics of the asphalt-concrete mixture, first carry out testing of the basic material characteristics and determine the Optimum Asphalt Content (KAO) is 5%, after getting the KAO then making and testing the test specimens with variations of SBE obtained the most effective variation used as a substitute for ash stones, namely in variations of 20%, 22%, and 24%} }
