Tatabumi No. 3 Banyuraden, Gamping, Sleman email: wb.istifajar@gmail.com, nurdjanah.fendi@gmail.com, yuliantisarir@gmail.com ABSTRACT Background: Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is the main indicator of public health status and is set as one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's). According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the maternal mortality rate (MMR) is still very high, around 830 women die from complications related to pregnancy or childbirth worldwide every day. Objective: To find out the relationship between access to MCH books and the level of knowledge about the danger signs of pregnancy in third trimester pregnant women at the Wirobrajan Health Center in 2021. Methods: This research is a quantitative research with analytical descriptive research design. The approach used is accidental sampling. This research was conducted in May-June 2021. The population in this study were all third trimester pregnant women. Sample with 50 pregnant women. Data analysis using Chi-square. Results: There is a significant relationship between access to MCH books and knowledge of pregnant women about the danger signs of pregnancy at the Wirobrajan Health Center (p-value 0.01). As many as 70% of pregnant women have good access to MCH books and 74% of mothers have good knowledge about the danger signs of pregnancy. Conclusion: There is a relationship between access to MCH books and the level of knowledge about the danger signs of pregnancy in third trimester pregnant women.
