Oral and dental health problems in the community are one of them caused by behavioral factors or attitudes ignoring oral and dental hygiene. This problems is caused by a lack of knowledge of the importance of oral and dental maintenance. Based on preliminary study on elementary school students in Landak district showed that 50% students brush their teeth during bathing and 12,5% of them only brush their teeth in the morning bath. Objectives: To find out the correlation between knowledge about oral and dental health and teeth brushing behavior in elementary school students. Method: The type of this research was a quantitative study with an analytical observational approached using a cross sectional design. The research was conducted in MIN 3 Landak on September 2021. There were 55 respondents who participated as the sample of this study. Those samples were chosen using total sampling technique. The instrument that used in this research were collected from the knowledge about dental health and the behavior of teeth brushing questionnaires which were later analyzed using kendall?s tau-b test. Result: The knowledge about oral and dental health in the good category is 56,4%. The behavior of brushing teeth in less category is 81,8%. Based on the Kendall?s Tau-B test showed that P. Value is 0,244 > 0,05 it means that there is no correlation between knowledge about oral and dental health and teeth brushing behavior. Conclusion: There is no correlation between knowledge about oral and dental health and teeth brushing behavior in elementary school students.} }
