The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of competence on organizational performance, job satisfaction and organizational commitment, job satisfaction and organizational commitment on employee performance, and the mediating role of job satisfaction and performance on the relationship between competency and employee performance. The object of this research is the Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu Kabupaten Tegal. The sampling technique was carried out with a saturated sample of 43 people. SEM-PLS analysis has been used to analyze data using SmartPLS. The results of the study show that competence and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on the performance of Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu Kabupaten Tegal employees. Competence has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. While job satisfaction has no effect on employee performance. Organizational commitment is able to act as a mediating relationship between competence and employee performance. Meanwhile, job satisfaction is not able to mediate the relationship between competence and employee performance at the Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu Kabupaten Tegal.} }
