The population in this study were all nurses at Suradadi Hospital, Tegal Regency, totaling 83 employees with a sampling technique using saturated sampling. Analysis using structural equation modelling-partial least square (SEM-PLS) and smartPLS analysis tools. The results of this study, transformational leadership has a significant negative effect on burnout, transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on mission valence, mission valence has a significant negative effect on burnout, mission valence plays a role in mediating the negative effect of transformational leadership on burnout with partial complementary mediation properties.
