		abstract={Capital structure is the ratio of debt to equity value that reflected in year and financial statements. Capital structure draws the proportion of long term debt used for cover invesment cost so it will give information to the investor about the risk and return of the invesment. Capital structure optimes meant now to minimize capital cost for maximize company value. This research aims to examine the 
influence of the activa structure,  profitability,  firm size, growth  of asset  and business risk. over the company?s capital structure. This research sample was 33
manufacturing companies which listed  in Indonesian  Stock Exchange during 2006-20010 and selected by purposive sampling method. The analysis method used in tnis research is multiple linear regression analysis. From the test result 
showed that the activa structure,  profitability,  firm size,  and  business risk significant influence of the capital structure. Only growth of asset not significant
