The research population was all BNI Tegal Branch employees, 80 permanent employees. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling, that is, the entire population is used as the sample area, so the sample size is also 80 employees. The data analysis technique uses SEM-PLS with the SmartPLS analysis tool. The research results found that transformational leadership style and performance standards had no effect on affective commitment. Transformational leadership style and performance standards have a significant positive effect on the fairness of performance appraisals. Performance appraisal fairness has a significant positive effect on affective commitment. Performance appraisal fairness is able to partially mediate the influence of transformational leadership style and performance standards on affective commitment.
