The brake system on the GROB G120TP A aircraft operates using a hydraulic supply system which is driven by the main gear foot. Brake system components damage often damage, such as broken cracked reservoir tubes, worn master cylinder pistons, leaking flexible hoses, broken T handle parking brake valves, broken worn brake piston assy, leaky oring seals, thin brake linings, and thin disk brake. Therefore, the brake system requires checking, maintenance, and replacement of brake system components with the accurate inspection intervals to prevent failure and damage that poses a hazard to aviation. Based on the results of the analysis using FTA method, with brake system failure as the top level event, 32 intermediate events could be obtained using the OR logic gate. In addition, 9 basic events that cause failure in the brake system of the GROB G120TP A aircraft include overheating, continuous operation, improper installation, too hard, wear, dirt, vibration, friction, and age.} }
