Therefore, WIG aircraft utilizes theprinciple of ground effect to be able to fly. Passengers will feel as if they are floating when flying. The working principle of the WIG aircraft at the time of flight seems to be "supported"by the air, often called an "air cushion." The research was carried out in a 2D domain using a turbulent model of Large Eddy Simulations (LES). The turbulent flow on the LES model is depicted by eddies with long ranges and wide timescales. The largest vortices (large eddies) are usually proportional in size to the average flow characteristics. In the LES model, large eddies will be completed directly, while small eddies will be modelled. The results of the simulation carried out on the NACA 2412 airfoil with the parameters of the angle of attack used were 0°, 4°, 8°, and 12°, as well as unbound, 0.1c, 0.4c, and 0.8c. Aerodynamic characteristics of NACA 2412 were obtained with the highest CL value at an angle of attack of 12 ° at the altitude of 0.1 c and a CL value of 1.6557, while the highest CD value occurred at the attack angle of 12 ° at the unbound height with a CD value of 0.076322.The maximum value of CL/CD was obtained at the AoA of 4° at altitude (h) 0.1c, with the CL/CD value of 243.4327047. Therefore, it can be concluded that the height (h) can affect the aerodynamic characteristics of the airfoil.} }
