This is in line with the increasing use of metal materials that are increasingly widespread such as property, household tools to reach the small-scale, and large-scale industrial sectors. The purpose of research is to identify the effects of soaking times of 1, 2, 3, and 4 hours on hemp fiber-reinforced composites with alkaline treatment of polyester matrix on the tensile strength. The research method used was an experimental method. The results obtained from the tensile test of hemp fiber-reinforced polyester resin with an alkaline treatment time of 1 hour generated the average tensile stress of 31.42 MPa, 2 hours generated the average tensile stress of 35.44 MPa, 3 hours generated the average tensile stress of 36.19 MPa, and 4 hours generated the average tensile stress of 29.54 MPa. The highest tensile stress strength value was obtained at 3 hours soaking time and the lowest was 4 hours.} }
