It also supplies a warning for wind shear conditions. So, when near the terrain flight crew will give corrective action immediately which is following the aural and visual warning. This system has several problems. One of them is a lack of aural warning annunciation problem. The way to overcome the annunciation problem on B737-800 NG GPWS is to perform an operational test on GPWS. After the operational test, a problem was found in which there is no aural warning. According to Fault Insulation Manual to overcome this problem is by replacing REU. After the REU has been replaced and the REU installation test is carried out, it is required to perform an operational test again with GPWS. When conducting an operational test, the aural warning on GPWS is active. This shows the system and component are serviceable and ready to be used.} }
