		abstract={This research discusses system design to identify damage based on damage symptom data, to get handling repairs according to procedures by using a forward chaining expert system, where the expert system is a computer system that had a purpose to solved problems by imitating the human mindset as an expert which applied to one of the aircraft components that are frequently maintained as well as the discovery of the damage namely on the landing gear Cessna grand caravan C208 B. The process of making the damage identification system in this final project used the UML Unified Modeling Language modeling paradigm and the PHP programming language. From the research result, damage identification systems landing gear Cessna Grand Caravan C208 B using forward chaining expert system can make it easier to find damage and handling repairs for users or technicians in dealing with a symptom that occurs in the landing gear of the Cessna Grand Caravan C208B aircraft.}
