		abstract={Research conducted on PT. Java Arkitama Taman Sidoarjo engaged in contractor. Payroll systems by companies are less effective, so the payroll process is still a lot of mistakes, such as fraud or abuse in payroll, delays in reporting, and errors in financial management. Other than that the company still does not have adequate documents for the provision of information needed. The purpose of this study is to design a computerized payroll system that will be expected to help solve the problems faced by the company.   Research method used is library and field method. Literature method is to collect theoretical data that support the writing by looking for references related to the design of payroll accounting information system. While the field method consists of observation and interview techniques. Observation technique that is by doing direct observation to the finance. Interview techniques that is directly face to face with the parties concerned in handling the problem of payroll.  Results have been achieved with the design of computerized payroll accounting information systems. Errors on calculation of employee salaries that often occur in the manual system can be reduced or even nonexistent and can generate reports that can be useful for decision-making for enterprise management}
