		abstract={ABSTRACT

This research aims to determine the effect of work stress on the performance of 
female nurses at hospitals in Palembang city. The population in this research is 
all female nurses working at hospitals in Palembang city. The sample in this 
research is a female nurse at Dr. Moehammad Hoesin hospital, RK. Charitas
hospital, Myria hospital, and Siloam hospital with a total sample of 150 
respondents. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. The 
data collection technique is questionnaire. Data analysis technique is simple 
regression analysis to know the effect of work stress to nurse performance. The 
result of the research shows that job stress variable has no significant effect on
nurse performance variable.
