LBW in Indonesia is a problem that needs special attention, because it has a high mortality rate, where the LBW mortality rate in 2021 is 34.5% of the total neonatal deaths in that year. In LBW, there are several organ function disorders that result in a decrease in the quality of the process of growth and development in infants. One of the evidence-based nursing practices that can be applied to LBW babies is the application of nesting therapy. Purpose: To determine changes in body temperature, pulse frequency and oxygen saturation in LBW babies before and after the application of nesting therapy. As well as consideration for NICU rooms and hospitals regarding initial management SOPs regarding the application of nesting techniques in patients with LBW. Methods: This study used a case study method in patients with LBW, totaling 2 respondents in the NICU room of Siti Fatimah Hospital, South Sumatra Province. Results: After applying the nesting technique to LBW babies for 3 days, it showed changes in body temperature, pulse frequency and oxygen saturation. Advice: Hopefully the application of this nesting technique is able to increase body temperature, pulse frequency and oxygen saturation in low birth weight babies appropriately.} }
