		abstract={This research aims to know the comparasion of stocks return and trading volume stocks from basic industry and chemical, finance, and consumer goods industry companies before appearance of first case of Covid-19 in Indonesia and after first case of Covid-19 entered in Indonesia (02nd of March 2020). The data used in this research is secondary data. Population in this research is basic industry and chemicals, finance, and consumer goods industry companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. 
The sampling selection method that used in this research is purposive sampling and obtained 55 basic industry and chemicals companies, 63 finance companies, and 33 consumer goods industry companies. The hypothesis tester in this research is paired sample t-test. The result of this research shows that: (1) there is significant difference of basic industry and chemicals, finance, and consumer goods industry companies? stocks return, (2) there is significant difference of finance companies? stocks trading volume, and (3) there is no significant difference of basic industry and chemicals, and consumer goods industry companies? stock trading volume between before appearance of first case of Covid-19 in Indonesia and after first case of Covid-19 entered in Indonesia.
