There will be an increase in the number of pulmonary TB patients I 2021 globally by 10,6 mllion cases from 2020 due to the disease transmission process being easy and requiring a long treatment process so that it can have a psychological impact on patients and can affect a person's self-concept. Pulmonary TB sufferers need to get good family support in order to reduce the psychological burden so that a positive self-concept can be created. Objective : To analyze the relationship between family support and self-concept in pulmonary TB patients at Siti Fatimah Regional Hospital, South Sumatra Province. Methods : This study uses quantitative methods with a descriptive correlation design with a cross sectional approach. The population was all pulmonary TB sufferers in the polyclinic. Using a purposive sampling technique, there were 59 respondents. Data collection tools used family support and self-concept questionnaires with Kendall's Tau test analysis. Result : The results of the study showed that the average age of respondents was 36 years, with the characteristics of male gender being dominated by 35 people (59.3%), the length of follow-up treatment (>2 months) was 33 people (55.9%), good family support as many as 36 people (61%), positive self-concept as many as 50 people (84.7%). Bivariate data analysis shows that there is a relationship between family support and self-concept (p=0.002 <0.005). Suggestion : Encourage families to increase support for pulmonary TB patients because good family support can increase positive self-concept in pulmonary TB patients.} }
