@thesis{thesis, author={Pamungkas Cornellia Novelia}, title ={Resiliensi pada pengasuh di panti asuhan}, year={2024}, url={http://eprints.ukmc.ac.id/12300/}, abstract={Resilience is an individual's ability to face problems and be able to get out of bad experiences and be able to recover from negative emotional experiences and be able to adapt in stressful situations and be able to respond positively so that individuals can develop themselves to be even better. This research aims to determine the description of resilience in orphanage caregivers. The participants in this research consisted of 3 people, namely a caregiver at an orphanage who had worked at an orphanage for quite a long time. The method used in this research is a qualitative method using a phenomenological approach, with data collection in the research using semi-structured interviews. The results of this study illustrate that resilience in caregivers in orphanages tends to be positive or resilient. This can be seen from the 3 participants who were able to respond to every problem that was pressing or had trauma in their lives. Positive resilience makes participants have the desire and hope to live a better life. The source of resilience formation found in this research is harmony between thoughts and feelings with a sense of patience and gratitude. Resilience is very important for everyone because by having resilience an individual can solve and emerge from every problem and when an individual does not have good resilience then it will be difficult for that individual to get up and get out of bad experiences and the pressure they are experiencing.
