		abstract={This study aims to determine whether the variable understanding of the impact of the industrial revolution 4.0 has an influence on the interest in choosing an accounting major. The theory used in this research is Decision Making Theory. The population is all grade XI students in Palembang, while the sample is class XI students majoring in Natural Sciences and Social Sciences who study at an A accredited school in Palembang with a total sample of 100 respondents. The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis to determine the understanding of the impact of the industrial revolution 4.0 having an influence on the interest in choosing an accounting major to continue study. The results obtained indicate that the variable understanding of the impact of the industrial revolution 4.0 does not affect the interest in choosing an accounting major.
