Factors that can affect chloride levels are physical activity. According to the Minister of Health Regulation No. 43 of 2013 before taking blood, the subject must rest for at least 15 minutes to normalize the balance of body fluids. Objective : To determine the difference in the level of chloride in the blood without resting and resting 15 minutes using the EasyLyte ISE method. Methods : This study uses Analytical Observation with a Cross Sectional approach. The research subjects used were students of DIV Medical Laboratory Technology and collected 30 people. Blood samples were collected or collected in 2 Clot Activator tubes for each subject, then the sample was centrifuged to obtain serum. Each serum was examined twice, namely not resting and resting for 15 minutes. Data analysis using Wilcoxon test. Results : Chloride levels did not have a mean value of 103 mEq/L, a minimum value of 100 mEq/L, and a maximum value of 107 mEq/L. While at a 15-minute rest had a mean value of 104 mEq/L, the minimum value was 102 mEq/L , and a maximum value of 107 mEq/L. The test results showed no difference with a p value of 0.062> 0.05. Conclusion : Based on the results of the study, there was no difference in chloride levels in the blood without resting and resting 15 minutes. Suggestion : For further research, it is recommended that the duration of time spent on light physical activity is more than 10 minutes.} }
