There is a problem in the Topi Koki UKM which makes the trays that are produced with defects such as torn, thin, holes, dented and the loss of the average produced of Rp. 1,320,000 certainly hampers the production of the egg tray itself. This research uses the six sigma method to help control the quality of production. At the time of observation and research there was a defective product of 10.81% of the total tray production which made the Topi Koki UKM run out of time due to reprocessing the defective tray to return to the mixer process and adding more costs for egg tray production such as electricity costs that increase. In overcoming the decrease in production defects, this tray then uses six sigma by using the DMAIC stages which explain the conditions of SMEs before and after the repair in detail with fishbone charts and p charts to get the results of improvements with the aim of improving quality.
