SPU is a medical device manufacturer. Currently, PT. SPU experienced internal constraints in the production process, because of the limited number of machines and employees. This results in the lack of available production capacity so that the production output of wheelchairs is not optimal. The principles of Theory Of Constraint are used to identify constraints so that bottlenecks are found and which products should meet the target in maximizing the company's output. After comparing the available capacity and the required capacity, it can be identified that there are 4 work stations experiencing bottleneck resources. The bottlenecks result in the need for components at the final assembly station not being met. Based on the calculation of optimization with POM QM software, the total output for the next 12 periods with regular capacity is 5004 units per year. In order to meet the remaining required targets, three alternatives are proposed, including additional manpower, overtime, and a combination of both. The alternative chosen is the addition of five workers plus 2 to 3 days of overtime per month which has proven to be effective in meeting all regular capacity shortages and providing output of 7550 for the next 12 months.} }
