		abstract={ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine whether work shift variables and work stress variables can affect the performance of employees at gas station operators in Muara Enim Regency. This research was conducted on employees of gas station operators in Muara Enim Regency with 52 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data quality test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis test, coefficient of determination test and hypothesis test (t test). The variables in this study used a Likert scale and were processed using SPSS 25. The results of this study prove that work shifts have a negative and significant effect on gas stations in Muara Enim Regency and work stress has a negative and significant effect on the performance of gas station operators in Muara Enim Regency.
