		abstract={ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the effect of tax knowledge and the firmness of tax sanctions on taxpayer compliance. This study uses primary data from a questionnaire with a sample of 30 respondents. The sampling technique used is the purposive sampling method. The results of this study indicate that tax knowledge has a positive effect on taxpayer compliance and the firmness of tax sanctions does not have a positive effect on taxpayer compliance.
