		abstract={Sports is an interest that has been engaged in a lot since the pandemic hit the world. People like to do sports because it is part of maintaining body fitness in order to increase the body's immunity. One of the impacts of the pandemic is that sales and market activity are reduced, but sales of sports equipment are increasing due to this situation. CV Sriwijaya Sportindo Sejatara has been selling sports equipment since 1989 and with this condition makes them face new challenges. However, the method of selling in a conventional way and also predicting sales which still uses intuitive methods will certainly make inventory costs less optimal and also the profits that will be obtained. Due to the intuitive ordering method, data is also difficult to obtain until in the period from January 2020 to December 2021, the total sales were made as many as 39911. The total inventory cost obtained using the company method is IDR 13,668,872,564 while for the EOQ method it is IDR 13,663,251,954. So it is said that there is a decrease in inventory costs of IDR 5,620,610 or 0.999588802%
