@thesis{thesis, author={Mboeik Fredericka Magdalena}, title ={Perbedaan Kadar Kreatinin Pada Serum Dan Plasma EDTA}, year={2022}, url={http://eprints.ukmc.ac.id/8988/}, abstract={Background : One of the clinical chemistry test is the creatinine test. Creatinine is the end result of muscle metabolism. Creatinine examination inte laboratory uses a serum sample as a creatinin test material, but can also use a plasma sample (Heparin or EDTA). Objective : to find out the difference in the results of creatinine examination using serum and plasma EDTA. Methods : This research is analytic observational with static group comparison research design. The research subjects used were 35 TLM students. Blood samples were collected in 2 tubes and collected in a tube without anticoagulant and an EDTA anticoagulant tube. Result : Serum creatinine examination had a mean value of 0.91 mg/dl, minimum 0,73 mg/dl, maximum 1,39 mg/dl and EDTA plasma creatinine examination was a mean value 0.96 mg/dl, minimum 0,81 mg/dl, maximum 1,16 mg/dl.The data on the normality test were not normally distributed, then continued with a non-parametric test, namely the Wilcoxon test with a significant value of 0.091 > 0.05, which means there is no difference in creatinine examination using serum and plasma EDTA. Conlusion : From the results obtained, there was no difference between serum and plasma EDTA creatinine measurements. Suggestion : can use serum and plasma EDTA for elderly and can be use serum and plasma heparin. Keywords : Creatinine, Serum, Plasma EDTA.} }
