So capillary blood sampling as an alternative examination material Methods: This type of research is descriptive-analytic. Examination using the KX-21 tool with the Blood Cell Counter method. The research was conducted at the Palembang Health Laboratory Center. The subjects of this study were students of level 2 and 4 Fikes UKMC who were taken using the Total Sampling technique. Data were analyzed using Independent Sample T Test. Results: Examination of hematocrit levels using venous blood obtained an average result of 38.6% and examination of hematocrit levels using capillary blood obtained an average of 39.0%. The test results showed a significant difference in hematocrit levels using venous blood and capillary blood with a value of =0.670 (<0.05). Conclusion: Based on this study, it can be concluded that there is no difference in the examination of hematocrit levels using venous and capillary blood. Suggestion: Examination in the next study compares the hematocrit parameters in capillary blood samples using the Auto Clik Device with a disposable lancet needle Keywords: Hematocrit, Blood, veins, blood, capillaries} }
