		abstract={ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the effect of Good Corporate Governance and Leverage on the financial performance of transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2021. The data used is secondary data. The population used in this study are transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2021. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method and obtained 27 companies with a total of 135 samples. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the independent board of commissioners has a positive effect on financial performance while the audit committee, institutional ownership and leverage have no effect on financial performance.
