This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and workload on the performance of nurses in hospitals in the city of Palembang. The population in this study is a hospital in the city of Palembang which has type C. The research was conducted using the purposive sampling method as a technique in determining the sample, the sample used was all nurses working at hospitals in Palembang City who had type C totaling 105 nurses. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the variables of work motivation and workload affect the performance of hospital nurses in Palembang City.}
