This study aims to determine the effect of work environment and competency on the performance of Barbershop employees in Palembang City. The population in this research is Barbershop in Palembang City. The research was conducted using a purposive sampling method as a technique in determining the sample, the sample used was all Barbershop employees in the city of Palembang totaling 105 employees. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the work environment and competency variables affect the performance of Barbershop employees in Palembang City}
