		abstract={ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of work motivation and work discipline variables on sales employees at PT Berlian Maju Motor. In this study using a purposive sampling method and get a sample of 40 respondents from sales employees. The data collection technique used in this study is by interviewing and distributing questionnaires. The technique for analyzing the data uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results found in this study are that the work motivation variable has no effect on employee performance, while the work discipline variable has an effect on employee performance.
