		abstract={ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the effect of knowledge management and compensation on the performance of coffee shop baristas in the city of Palembang. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling and snowball sampling and obtained 120 samples. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that knowledge management has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and compensation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of coffee shop franchise employees in the city of Palembang.
