One of the most commonly used methods is the floating method (flotation). This method usually uses a small sample of stool which is considered representative of the stool, but sometimes the results are not positive. To get a high level of positivity, a larger number of stool samples were used. Methods: This type of research is a pre-experimental study conducted at the Parasitology Laboratory of Musi Charitas Catholic University, Palembang. The sample used in this study was the feces of children in TPA Sukawinatan Palembang City. Results: Of the 15 samples examined in part of the feces, 7 samples were positive (47%) and 8 samples were negative (53%). Stool examination which was more than 15 samples examined, there were 12 positive samples (80%) and negative samples (20%). Based on the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, the results showed a significant difference in the two treatments, namely p (0.032).
