As long as Self-regulated Learning and Grit are maintained and managed properly, students prevent delays in working on their thesis, especially at Muhammadiyah University Gresik. The variables in this study were measured using three measuring instruments, namely the Self-regulated Learning measuring instrument, the Grit measuring instrument, and the academic procrastination measuring instrument, which focused on the modified Likert scale model using five alternative answer choices. the results of the regression test obtained the equation Y = (97.789 + -.092 + -.799). This means the equation of the academic procrastination variable, the Self Regulated Learning variable and the Grit variable. Based on the results of the ANOVA test, a significant value of 0.000 was obtained, which means that there is an influence of Self Regulated Learning and Grit on academic procrastination in students composing thesis. The results of R squar (R2) show a number of 0.644 which means that the Self Regulated Learning and Grit variables make an effective contribution of 64.4% to academic procrastination behavior. While the remaining 35.6% is influenced by other factors.} }
