		abstract={The traditional family pattern who decides the husband goes to work to provide tha family and the wife stays home to manage the family is changing to a new dynamic of dual career family. However, a dual career family in which both husband and wife are working is going to face a problem to handle routine home activities including child care who the parrents are the most important. This research is providing picture of how the dual career’s parenting styles. This research is quantitative descriptive method, in which all datas are collecting from the questionnaire of parenting styles that were distributed to 35 couples of dual career families who the husbands and wifes are employees and have children with 2 untul 12 years old. They are living in the Pondok Blimbing Indah Complex in the area of Polowijen and Purwodadi village district. The datas are analized by non statistical system which is by percentage, therefore, the conclusion is depend on the problems. The results of this research indicates that their parenting style is authoritative style. The parents are still keeping their individual roles thus there is no roles shifting between husband and wife while the husband free time before and after working are used to implement the aspects of parenting.}
