		abstract={PT Semen Gresik (Persero) Tbk in doing business operation have to give attention the environment and people around them, because of the reason, an attention to people around the company must to be increased as a form social responsibility to the people and this mentioned is one of the efforts for create persistence work to create and cared for the balance with this function and social character, take care the environment, and also persistence work. The third thing is very important to establish which is continuation. Because of the reason, a writer interested to reveal more in research with the title “An Activity of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) PT. Semen Gresik (Persero) Tbk (A Study of Divisi Bina Lingkungkan PT Semen Gresik Persero, Tbk). Which is the problem are what exactly the program of corporate social responsibility PT Semen Gresik (Persero) Tbk? And what exactly factor that barrier and support in dong corporate social responsibility PT Semen Gresik (Persero) Tbk?
Kinds of research that use is qualitative descriptive, this research do in PT Semen Gresik (Persero) Tbk that addresse in Desa Sumberarum, Kecamatan Kereh, Kabupaten Tuban with the total of subject are 8 (eight) peoples which consist of public relations staffs, PKBL staff and employment and also people around PT Semen Gresik Tbk Tuban. A method of the data collection that use are interview and documentation. The technique analysis using qualitative analysis. The result of this research show that PT Semen Gresik (Persero) Tbk, have ten CSR programs that already doing since 2002 (years), that are environment sector and tackling natural disaster, healthy sector, education sector, development of public service sector, development of religious service sector, development of culture art and conservation sector, raising sport achievement, load distribution, research distribution and promotion. The purpose of CSR program is as one of shape participation the company to keep the environment balancing after production activity, or try to make the environment condition still same as previously. The factors that hamper in doing Corporate Social Responsibility PT Semen Gresik (Persero) Tbk, among are limited estimation and people participation around this company is less in helping CSR program implementation.}
