Antioxidants are needed to protect the skin for preventing the premature aging. The use of gel face mask preparation is easy to peel off and can be cleaned by removing the gel layer from the skin without using water. Objective: To identify the impact of Marigold flower extract (Tagetes erecta L.) on concentration of (0,5%, 1% and 2%) with PVA base and PEG 1500 toward the physical quality (organoleptic, homogeneity, viscosity, spreading, and drying time) and chemical (pH), as well as the stability of the peel off gel mask preparation. Methods: the peel off mask extracts from marigold flower formula 1 (0.5%), formula 2 (1%), and formula 3 (2%) were made. Evaluation of the physical characteristics were done (organoleptic, homogeneity, viscosity, dispersion, and drying time) and chemical (pH), and stability of the peel off gel mask preparation were evaluated. Result and conclusion: From the research result, it showed the use of marigold flower extract 0,5%, 1%, and 2% on physical characteristic test which resulted a brownish yellow organoleptic, typical flavor, and soft texture, homogeneity test showed no significant difference, viscosity test CPI FI (23,200), FII (20,267) and FIII (12,533), FI (0.0124), FII (0.0141), FIII (0.0147), dry test (minutes) FI (24,62), FII (24,75), FIII (24,66) and PH FI test (6,07), FII (5,86), FIII (6,23), found that there was no difference which is significant in the peel off mask preparation from the marigold flower extract. The results of the stability and freeze-thaw test showed that all peel of mask remained stable and no significant organoleptic changes occurred, while the pH of the peel of mask was slightly modified but included in a range that was otherwise safe and non-irritating to the skin.} }
