This diversity can lead to be conflict involving certain groups such as inter ethnic conflict. Malang City as a city of education have deserve population from a various ethnic such as Javanese and Eastern Indonesians. The conflict is acompained by negative emotions like anger, contempt, disgust to other individuals or groups to hate. Inter group will be hated each other because of negative tought toward another groups called prejudice. This study aimed to find out the correlation between prejudice and Javanese ethnic hatred towards East Indonesian people. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The research subjects consisted of 300 ethnic Javanese, aged at least 18 years and settled in Malang for a minimum of 3 years. The data collection method uses the Ethnic Prejudice scale and the Triangular Hate Scale (THS) scale with product moment Pearson correlation analysis. The results of the analysis show that there is a very significantly positive corelation between prejudice and hate, that means if prejudice of Javanese ethnic to East Indonesian people was high then hatred will be high too.} }
