Indications for various types of stage-dependent Senilis Cataracts experienced by patients. Of some elderly patients who have advanced stages, they cannot even see again or experience blindness. So from that needed an early examination in order to prevent the stage level to avoid blindness. For examination, it can usually be done by checking by an ophthalmologist. But for some people who are unfamiliar with the symptoms of senile cataracts, they certainly will not care about it and do not carry out the examination. For this reason, an expert system application was made that resembled an expert to diagnose senile cataracts, and this application was also easy to use by patients. In this application the K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm method is used. This algorithm can be used in terms of determining data classification. In this study the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm is used in expert systems to diagnose the stage of Senile Cataract disease. The results of this study with the use of the K-Nearest Neighbor method get accurate and comparable results with data from an expert.} }
